• Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?

  I primarily teach Bengali through online classes on Superprof. In addition to this, for the past two years, I have been teaching young children from both English medium and Bengali medium backgrounds. My teaching approach focuses on building strong fundamentals from the very beginning. I developed a deep interest in this field after realizing that when children understand the basics clearly, they find learning easier and more enjoyable as they grow.

• What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?

  My students are my biggest motivation. Watching a child move from confusion to confidence is extremely rewarding for me. I believe teaching is not just about completing lessons, but about making students feel comfortable, supported, and capable. This belief inspires me to teach with patience and care every day.

• How does your work help society?

  My work contributes to society by strengthening the educational foundation of young learners. When children are taught properly from the start, they develop confidence, discipline, and a positive attitude toward learning. This reduces academic stress in later years and helps create independent and curious learners.

• If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

  I am inspired by teachers who teach with empathy, consistency, and dedication. Educators who focus on understanding a child’s individual learning pace and needs have influenced my own teaching style. I aim to follow the same values in my professional journey.

• Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.

  Outside teaching, I enjoy creative learning activities and continuously improving my teaching methods. I like organizing study materials in simple and child-friendly ways, which helps me stay innovative and effective as an educator.

• Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?

  One of my most meaningful experiences has been teaching children who initially struggled with basic concepts. By starting from the foundation and progressing step by step, I saw a noticeable improvement in their confidence and interest in learning. These moments remind me why I chose teaching as my profession.
