About Verena
Hi! My name is Verena and I’m a native German speaker offering personalized German lessons with a focus on steady progress and building real confidence.
A little about me: I grew up in Germany and moved to Australia when I was 19. I’m now 30, a mom to a 16-month-old, and engaged to an Aussie—so I’ve spent many years living between both languages and cultures. I feel completely “at home” in both German and English and understand the challenges that come with learning and using a second language.

My bilingual background helps me understand the common challenges English speakers face when learning German, and I can provide clear explanations and effective strategies to overcome them.
