About Amy
Hi, my name is Amy! I am a native English teacher based in Lincolnshire in the UK. I am CELTA (Cambridge) certified English teacher.
I have worked as a teacher for classes in schools, as well as individual one-to-one lessons with students of various levels from Beginner to Advanced. My experience is with communicative English teaching, but I'm always happy to adapt my methods, if students have certain preferences.

My lessons are based on the principle of communicative learning, focusing on the use of English in interaction as it would be relevant to everyday life, and your learning goals! I am also more than happy to go into depth regarding grammar points and one of my strengths is being able to explain these in a practical, easily understandable way.
My lessons are for anyone of any age, any level - however, most of my experience is with adult students, both in the classroom and a one-to-one context.
Lessons will generally last for one or two hours, depending on the student's needs.
