About Tom
I have previously received excellent one-to-one tuition and will use these experiences to help students progress to the next level. I love helping young people maximise their potential and I am thus willing to work very hard to make this happen. Whilst I am still relatively young I have lots of teaching experience in sporting environments and I am now looking forward to using these skills to help young students. Finally having only graduated in 2018 I have a good understanding of what examiner's are looking for in GCSEs, A levels and at Degree level.

I have an open-minded, flexible tuition style since students learn and develop in different ways. Receiving tuition is a great way to learn new skills and develop at a faster pace alongside teaching in classrooms and lecture theatres. My main strengths lay in identifying areas where written content can be improved and expressing these ideas clearly and constructively. Furthermore I am very patient with students particularly when they show a willingness to learn new skills. This process can be quickened if the student understands how they learn most effectively. Overall I believe that with the kind of support anyone can achieve their academic goals. I look forward to working with you!

Tom is an extremely able teacher as a result of his patience and good sense of humour. He is very wary of adapting his teaching style to suit the needs of the people he teaches and goes beyond what is expected of him by spending lots of time planning lessons. He has many relevant experiences that would make him an effective teacher such as completing his Sports Leadership Award. His kindness and consideration for others meant he was able to motivate children of all abilities and personality types to improve at a range of sports. Notwithstanding he proved himself to be a successful Brand Ambassador for Abel and Cole by mentoring new team members to improve their verbal communication and body language whilst pitching to potential customers. Furthermore he has recently been a student himself he is well aware of the needs of learners and the best ways to support them.
Overall Tom is a completely honest and reliable person and I would have no hesitation in recommending him for this role.
