Hello! My name is Chris, and I'm a friendly, patient and dedicated online English tutor based in Durban, South Africa.
I am passionate about helping students improve their English in a relaxed, supportive and encouraging environment. I understand that learning a new language can be challenging, so I focus on making every lesson enjoyable, interactive and tailored to your individual needs and learning style.

I believe the best way to learn English is through patience, encouragement and plenty of real-life conversation. My teaching style is friendly, interactive and tailored to each student's individual goals, whether they want to improve their speaking, listening, reading, writing or grammar skills.
I am proficient in English and teach all lessons in English, adapting my language and pace to suit each student's level. I create a relaxed learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and building their confidence naturally.
A typical lesson includes conversation practice, vocabulary development, pronunciation, grammar explained in a simple and practical way, and activities designed to improve fluency. I also provide personalised feedback and focus on areas where each student would like to improve, ensuring every lesson is engaging and productive.
