About Skye
I have been playing musical instruments since I was around 9 years old and I absolutely just adore music and teaching that to others. My main goal is for you to enjoy the process of learning guitar and have fun!
I personally love soul, blues, folk and rock music but truly enjoy a wide range of genres. I am an experienced live player, having played many gigs at various different venues, ranging from pubs to festivals. I too, have experience working as a session drummer, recording drum tracks for various artists during my time at The Academy of Contemporary Music. Further, I currently record music videos and lessons for online platforms such as YouTube and TikTok which you can view in the links below.

I completed my Diploma in Music Performance and Production at The Academy of Contemporary Music in 2019. Following this I trained and qualified as a Paramedic, gaining a first class honours degree, but decided not to follow this career path and continue working within the industry I am truly passionate about, which is Music.
I have previous 1 to 1 teaching experience, which included students with learning disabilities, which I am more than happy to tailor and accommodate for! Overall, I adopt a relaxed teaching style which is both driven by what you would like to learn, with guidance from me to elevate and advance your playing. An abundance of research evidences the positive and therapeutic impacts learning an instrument can have on people of all ages.
I also hold an up-to-date Enhanced DBS certificate. Please do not hesitate to get in contact with me with any query and I look forward to hearing from you :)
