About Violet
Hello! I’m Violet, an experienced and passionate English tutor dedicated to helping you grow in confidence and clarity. Whether you're working on academic writing, grammar, pronunciation, or preparing for an important exam, I provide structured, goal-oriented lessons tailored to your needs. With a background in language support and a strong grasp of how English works, I break complex topics into simple steps and create a space where learning feels natural. My students describe me as patient, understanding, and easy to talk to, which is exactly what I aim for in every session. I work with learners of all levels — from complete beginners to advanced speakers — and I’m especially skilled at helping ESL students feel more fluent and self-assured in both writing and conversation. If you're looking for a tutor who will guide you with clarity, kindness, and consistency, you're in the right place. Let’s make progress together — at your pace, with purpose. – Violet

Hi! I'm Violet, a patient and encouraging English tutor who believes that learning works best when it’s clear, personal, and a little fun. Whether you're aiming to improve your writing, pass a test, or speak English with more confidence, I tailor each lesson to your goals and pace. :)
How I Teach
I focus on helping you truly understand what you’re learning — not just memorize rules. I break down grammar and writing in simple ways, with examples that actually make sense. For speaking and conversation, we focus on natural expressions and clear pronunciation, using topics you're interested in.
What a Lesson Looks Like
Each lesson usually includes:
A warm-up (quick chat or review)
Focus on one main goal (e.g. essay structure, tricky grammar, speaking clearly)
Real-life practice (writing, role-play, short texts, etc.)
Feedback and progress tips
I also adapt the structure if you're preparing for something specific like a test, school assignment, or job interview.
What Sets Me Apart
I'm not just here to explain English — I'm here to make you feel supported, especially if you’ve ever felt nervous or stuck with it before. I bring creativity into lessons and explain things the way I wish someone had explained them to me. Plus, I’ve helped many students who speak English as a second language feel more natural and confident.
Who My Lessons Are For
Students (middle school, high school, university)
Test-takers (IELTS, SAT, GED, etc.)
ESL learners at any level (especially beginner to intermediate)
Anyone who wants to write, speak, or understand English more clearly!
