About Duncan
In October 2019, I moved to south Bristol after completing a masters at Goldsmiths University in New Cross, south London, studying Creative Practice. I have been teaching since August 2016 on a freelance basis and as a peripatetic teacher in schools across southern England.

I teach people of all ages and abilities how to play the piano, bass guitar, understand music theory and also teach music technology. The syllabus I have mainly used is Trinity College London alongside ABRSM and Rock School grades. However, i'm perfectly happy to adapt to whatever peoples goals are for themselves. Learning should be a fun and a rewarding process. I believe that ultimately a teacher is there to support, guide and fuel a persons motivation to practice and learn in their own time.
I also manage recording sessions within a studio, which ranges from rock and pop bands to solo artists, jazz ensembles and string quartets.
