About Margie
I've lived outside of my home country (the USA) for over half of my adult life . So I truly understand the joys and challenges of living, studying and/or working outside of your "comfort zone".
Although I have experience with nearly all ages and levels, at this time my specialization is tutoring intermediate & advanced level adults.
Part of the reason for this is my strong focus on vocabulary, which for many, seems to be one of the toughest things to build after gaining a conversational level of English.

My general teaching style is fairly informal, but always results-oriented.
If your first language isn't English, it can be difficult to express your "true self" in the language. Being able to do so takes time, but it gets easier with practice!
My biggest goal is to make you feel more confident with the language. So first, we'll have a relaxed chat about your biggest challenges, your questions, and where you'd like to be.
In addition to English language practice, I offer IELTS, TOEFL, and TOEIC preparation.
