About Amelia
Bonjour! I am Amelia and I have been studying French for 9 years now. I live in France at the moment so I am very familiar with the language and culture and I absolutely love it! I have a genuine passion for learning and teaching languages and I would love to share that through tutoring online. I can't begin to articulate just how many doors this has opened up for me and I can't wait to help other people do the same.
I have tutored students from the ages of 10-18 during my time at school and I excited to continue that now. As someone who is still perfecting my French, I am aware of how different learning styles benefit different people and I will work with the student to find out what works best for them. Whilst it is vital to learn all the grammatical rules, I find the most enjoyable and rewarding way of progressing is through speaking. I have had great feedback from students so far who have gone on to succeed in their various exams and I look to do the same as a tutor here.

- Lessons which focus on speaking and expressing yourself with the freedom for the student to direct the lesson in their own way if they want. We will expand vocabulary by learning about a range of topics regarding culture and lifestyle of different Francophone countries.
-However, there will be a solid structure to ensure that their grammatical foundations are strong and the lesson remains focused.
-I am flexible with lesson lengths however 1 hour is typical.
-My lessons are generally for anyone up until age 18 (A-Levels). I mainly with GCSE students (16 years old) and A-Level students.
