Lucinda has been our amazing piano teacher since my eldest son turned four years old. He is now nearly 9! Lucinda has also taught our 2nd son since he was 4 years, he is now 6 years. They love their piano lessons with her.

We feel very lucky to have found Lucinda. She is super friendly and patient. Lucinda has a special ability to grow children's confidence in both sight reading, playing and preparing them for their exans.

Both of our boys now have a love for the piano and enjoy hopping on to practice without me having to tell them. I put this down to Lucinda's calm and nurturing approach which means piano to them is an enjoyable activity.

Lucinda builds a lovely relationship with the children which encourages them to feel safe and secure to play at schoool performances infront of circa 60 parents and completing their ABRSM grades. Our eldest is now moving on to his Grade 3 after completing his Initial Grade one at 6 years old and then subsequent grades. Even with him breaking an elbow 2 years ago and separately his wrist this year she has supported him to suceed and overcome the setbacks. As you can tell we can't recommend Lucinda enough!

Lucinda is teaching music instruments at my boys' Prep school, that's how we know her. She has taught piano to my 2 sons since 2016.
She has been an amazing teacher to my 2 boys from when they were 5 years old to their teenage years.

After they finished their Prep School, I asked Lucinda to continue her piano teaching with them online or at our home now that they are in Secondary School.
She has been teaching successfully for their ABRSM exams practice when needed. She has also taught them ABRSM Theory successfully when needed.

She is the most kind, patient, engaging and genuine teacher, and is absolutely brilliant at getting the best from her students whilst making music fun! She is great with different personalities – my daughter is proactive and my son is more naturally reluctant but, because of Lucinda’s enthusiasm and kindness, they both look forward to their music lessons and enjoy them immensely. They don’t have to be nagged to practice because she has instilled in them a genuine interest and joy for playing music.

The musicality and technical skills they have developed under Lucinda’s tutelage are extraordinary. They have so much respect for her and I’m amazed at what new musical challenges she inspires them to take on. Thanks to Lucinda they consistently perform extremely well in ABRSM music exams, always with Merits and Distinctions. They really enjoy taking the exams and they rise to the challenge without any pressure, thanks to Lucinda’s dedication, encouraging approach and exceptional teaching.

I can’t imagine a better music teacher as, in addition to all the above, she is such a lovely person and a great team player. We feel very lucky to have found her.
