About Brody
I feel like the other sections describe me pretty well, so please look there, but I think I'm a kind person and I try to make a difference in the world through education. Education is how we build our futures and I believe that the lack of education can be one of the greatest detriments to a society. I've taught probably 100 students through tutoring programs at my school and plan to continue tutoring as a side hustle as I get older.

As stated in the title, I've taken all math classes up to Diff. Eq., Linear Algebra, and Calc. 3, and passed all of them with upwards of a 95%. I have a pretty good understanding of math.
I've been tutoring for 5 years, since before High School, and have been told I teach in a way that is good at using easy concepts from past classes to explain harder ones. I always try to connect with the student I'm tutoring and I feel like that makes it easier to understand and not feel beat up about taking longer to understand concepts. I easily have 500+ tutoring hours in math and have taught a variety of courses, usually HS level, such as Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and Trigonometry, as well as taught more basic lessons for younger students through Pre-Algebra and earlier classes. I'm able to remember concepts from classes I took long ago very well, but when I forget something I just look it up and explain it in a way that is easy to understand.
I teach anyone who needs it but I work best with children in middle school and upwards as they can understand the concepts quicker. This doesn't mean I won't teach children younger than that, but it could take a little longer. I can teach classes in the normal math route of HS, but also tutor classes outside of it like Statistics and Physics. To give perspective, I have gotten 5's on the AP exams for Physics C (Mechanics), Statistics, and Calculus BC, and a 4 on Physics C (Electromagnetism).
We can further discuss classes and topics if you reach out, as well as payment, which is pretty flexible and low cost. I believe that education shouldn't cost much, if anything, so I usually charge low prices and understand that payment can be difficult. At most I'd charge $20/hr, but I usually take payment based on if the student wants to pay me so I can be pretty flexible depending on if I need money or not.
