About Jake
I am studying French at university and have been tutoring GCSE and IB students for almost 3 years. I am currently working towards my degree in French, having got an A*/9 at GCSE and a Level 6 in International Baccalaureate French (equivalent of an A* at A Level). As a key member of my secondary school community, I was a football coach and Head Boy, as well as a French tutor and so I have a good set of developed teaching skills.

My teaching method is easily adapted for each individual. I base my classes on my own notes from school and university to find key topics of grammar, vocabulary and French culture. Starting from the basics of grammar, I would set small tests to identify any weaknesses and then create exercises to work on them. Many of my lessons are derived from PowerPoint presentations and written examples.
