About Edward
My name is Edward and I have just completed my A level subjects. This means I am a relatable figure to many students and still have all the first-hand experience of taking these exams. My passion for French and the francophone world has absolutely flourished, starting with my family holidays in France during the summer and later developing when I took French more seriously as an academic subject. This has motivated me to reach an advanced level in the language. In September, I am moving to Paris to continue my studies, at university, in International Politics with French. This shows my dedication and drive for the French language and ensures that you will be tutored by someone who is genuinely immersed in the subject.

As a French A level student who is moving to Paris in September, I know what it takes to learn a language to a high level. Therefore I will be able to teach you all my tips and tricks on how to improve your fluency, confidence and your grades! I achieved a Grade 9 at GCSE and I am predicted an A* at A level which shows that I know how to achieve those top grades. My lessons will help you to reach this level through a combination of grammar, conversation and curriculum focused lessons. I want my sessions to be fun and motivating so I won't just stick to the boring grammar sheets but instead I hope to immerse you into the language with conversation and deepen your cultural understanding and appreciation. Therefore my lessons are not just for those seeking high grades but for everyone who wants to improve their French speaking and explore the French culture!
