About Declan
I’ve been teaching French for over four years and hold a Bachelor of Education in French as a Second Language. I love working with complete beginners and helping them take their first steps in learning this beautiful language. My approach is patient and full of humor because I believe learning should be enjoyable, not stressful. I use games, skits, flashcards, and storytelling to make grammar and vocabulary come alive. These fun activities help students remember and use what they learn naturally. Watching my students gain confidence in everyday French conversations is one of the most rewarding parts of my job. I tailor each lesson to fit your pace and interests, making sure you feel comfortable and excited to practice. Whether it’s ordering food, chatting with friends, or understanding French culture, I’m here to guide you with patience and support.
