About Eleni
My interest in French began through fascination with international communication, literature, and cultural diversity during my studies. This passion inspired me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied French Linguistics, where I explored language structure, communication methods, and Francophone culture deeply. During the past 5 years, I have guided students from different educational backgrounds while helping them improve fluency and confidence through supportive language instruction.
I believe language learning should feel approachable, interactive, and enjoyable for every learner regardless of experience level. My teaching style focuses on conversation practice, practical explanation, and relatable examples that help students understand French naturally instead of relying completely on memorization. I encourage learners to ask questions openly and participate actively because confidence develops through communication and supportive interaction.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading French novels, exploring Francophone cinema, and learning about traditions across French-speaking communities. Staying creatively connected to the language helps me bring fresh discussions and cultural understanding into lessons regularly. Teaching French is deeply meaningful to me because I enjoy helping students become more confident communicators over time. My goal is always to support learners in building fluency while developing appreciation for language, culture, and meaningful expression.

My French lessons focus on helping students communicate naturally through practical exercises, structured grammar learning, and interactive conversation practice. I teach pronunciation, listening comprehension, vocabulary building, sentence construction, and everyday communication in a simple and encouraging way that supports steady improvement. Students are encouraged to speak regularly because active communication helps build fluency and confidence naturally over time. Every lesson creates a supportive and engaging learning environment.
Lessons are adapted according to the learner’s level, pace, and personal goals. Beginners focus on pronunciation, greetings, and basic conversations, while advanced learners work on fluent speaking, detailed writing, listening precision, and expressive communication. I include reading activities, roleplay situations, guided discussions, and pronunciation drills regularly because active participation improves retention and understanding effectively. Students receive constructive support that helps them improve comfortably while staying motivated throughout the learning process.
I aim to create a relaxed atmosphere where students feel comfortable practicing French without fear of mistakes or embarrassment. Many learners initially feel nervous while speaking, so I focus on building fluency gradually through patience and positive encouragement. Over time, students improve communication skills, listening ability, and pronunciation naturally. French becomes much more enjoyable when learners realize they can express themselves clearly and confidently in meaningful real-world conversations.
