About Laurie
I am currently a graduate student at the University of Illinois at Chicago. French is my first language and I was a tutor for two years at UIC as an undergrad student. I have been an instructor for French at my university for a year now. I grew up in a french-speaking country and I love to teach people about this complex yet beautiful language and teach people about the diverse francophone (french-speaking) world.

Canada, France, Haiti, Congo, Cameroon, Monacco etc... all these countries have a unique culture but they all have something in common which is the French language. I´ve always loved French and loved sharing my passion with others which is why I have spent the past 5 years teaching French at my university. I´ve received a Bachelor degree in French and Francophone Studies and I am now getting a Master´s degree while working as an instructor at my university.
