About Claudia
I grew up in Quebec, the French-speaking part of Canada, and have a BA in French Language and Literature. I also have TEFL certification for teaching a foreign language. I have been giving French lessons to teenage and adult immigrants for over two years now and I thoroughly enjoy my job. Thanks to my lessons, students have been able to pass Quebec's proficiency test and obtain permanent residency. At the moment, I am completing a Masters by Research in Linguistics at the University of Edinburgh.

I always design my own materials when I teach in order to suit my students' individual needs. I am a creative person and strive to make my lessons as entertaining as possible by incorporating games and varied types of activity. When it comes to figuring out French grammar, I help my students infer the rules by themselves in order to maximize their chances of assimilating the language. I firmly believe that they make faster progress this way.
