Perfect! Fiona helped me get to where I need to be!

I had completed some classroom study prior to meeting Fiona, and thought I had an OK grasp of French words, and grammar in some basic tenses, BUT I had very limited ability to construct sentences, especially in a conversational sense.

My goal was to be able to chat with my French friends (like they do in English with me) and classrooms were not getting me to that point. Fiona has great techniques for sharing knowledge, and is really logical in the way she progresses through new ideas and concepts.

Fiona is super friendly, approachable, easy to chat to, and makes it easy to practice speaking, listening, understanding and responding. I've been seeing Fiona for weekly lessons for around four months and my confidence has skyrocketed.

I head off to France in two weeks time, and I'm enjoying planning this trip, messaging my French friends back and forth with out having to jump into google translate to see what's being said. Fiona has been a critical part of my French journey, for which I'm thrilled.

Perfect! With Fiona, I have had the best experience possible when learning French. She is a natural teacher as she is extremely positive and helpful. She lets me make mistakes while I am speaking and then quietly corrects me. This has been great because I have not been nervous and have made an effort to get my message across rather than worry about speaking perfectly. Language is communication after all. Fiona is an interesting person and although she is quintessentially French she has a love of all things Australian as well. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
