About Isla
My interest in French began through curiosity about European culture, language structure, and communication during my academic journey. This passion led me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in French Language and Cultural Communication. Over the past 5 years, I have helped students from different backgrounds develop strong French communication skills.
I believe language learning should feel practical, structured, and enjoyable. My teaching style focuses on real-life conversation practice, clear explanation, and interactive methods that help students understand French naturally. I encourage students to speak freely because confidence grows through consistent practice and interaction.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring French cinema, reading literature, and studying cultural traditions. Staying connected to the language helps me bring fresh ideas into lessons. Teaching French is meaningful to me because I enjoy helping students communicate confidently. My goal is to support every learner in speaking French naturally and comfortably.

My French lessons focus on helping students communicate naturally through structured grammar learning, speaking practice, and interactive exercises. I teach pronunciation, sentence formation, vocabulary development, listening comprehension, reading skills, and conversational fluency in a calm and supportive environment. Students learn how consistent practice improves accuracy and confidence over time. Every lesson is designed to feel simple, clear, and easy to follow.
Lessons are adapted based on each learner’s level and goals. Beginners focus on greetings, basic grammar patterns, pronunciation drills, and simple conversations, while advanced learners work on fluent speaking, writing accuracy, listening comprehension, and expressive communication. I include roleplays, storytelling activities, guided discussions, and reading practice because active participation strengthens understanding effectively. Students receive supportive correction that helps them improve without pressure or confusion.
I aim to create a friendly learning space where students feel comfortable speaking French in real-life situations. Many learners struggle with hesitation, so I focus on gradual confidence building through repetition and encouragement. Over time, students become more fluent, expressive, and confident. French becomes easier when learners feel supported and consistently guided.
