About Jad
I'm a high school student in Ottawa, Stittsville who has lived and breathed French for almost my entire life — 15 of my 16 years were spent studying entirely in French at an international French school ( EFI) . I graduated with High Honors (Mention Très Bien) on my French national diploma ( diplôme national du brevet ), and I currently maintain a 90%+ average in French, with a perfect 100% on my most recent final exam.
Being closer in age to my students is actually an advantage: I remember exactly what it's like to struggle with a tricky grammar rule or feel nervous speaking out loud, so I know how to explain things patiently, without ever making anyone feel judged. I take every lesson seriously and I'm fully committed to helping my students improve.

My approach is simple: French should feel natural, not like a memorization chore. Having spent 15 of my 16 years being educated entirely in French, I explain grammar and vocabulary the way a native speaker would think about them — with real examples, not just rules to memorize.
A typical lesson starts with a quick review of what's been tricky lately, then moves into focused practice (reading, writing, or conversation depending on the student's needs), and always ends with a few minutes of relaxed speaking practice to build confidence.
What sets me apart is patience and energy — I know what it's like to be a student myself, so I keep things encouraging, never intimidating. I tutor students from elementary through Grade 9, at all skill levels, from beginners to those preparing for exam
