About Gustavo
I’m a French horn teacher who loves helping students enjoy music while building solid skills. I studied my undergraduate degree in Puerto Rico and earned my master’s at the Chicago College of Performing Arts in Chicago. I work with beginners through advanced players, always aiming to make learning fun as well as rewarding.

Lessons usually start with warm-ups and simple exercises to build tone, breath control, and technique. From there, we work on scales, etudes, and pieces that fit the student’s goals, whether that’s preparing for an audition, improving in school band, or just learning for fun. I adapt to each student’s pace and interests so they feel confident and excited about their progress.
