About Fiona
I grew up in the French-speaking region of Switzerland (did you know Switzerland is divided by linguistic regions?). French is my mother tongue, so I'm in the perfect position to introduce you to this beautiful language! In Switzerland, it's quite normal to study a handful of languages, so I've had a go at German, English, and Spanish. You can judge for yourself how well that went when we meet ;) All this to say I'm very familiar with the process of learning the first few phrases, gaining confidence, developing a broader vocabulary and finally getting to that stage when you can proudly say 'I'm fluent!' Over the last few years, my main occupation has been teaching scuba diving and ecology. I've also worked at a Language School, teaching French and English to children and young adults aged 8 to 18. Teaching is fun and I particularly enjoy one-on-ones or small classes where we really get to chat and tailor each lesson to your goals.
