About Alexa
I have a passion for helping other people. I was a peer tutor in middle and high school and have a lot of experience working with students from all age groups. I am taking a rigorous curriculum at the Georgia Institute of Technology and am excited to share my knowledge with students. Moreover, I have developed my communication skills throughout my time in high school and college, and I believe they will allow me to be an effective tutor.

I enjoy working one-on-one with elementary and middle school students to improve their math skills. I first like to identify areas a student is struggling in. Then, I work with the student to make sure they have a good understanding of the most basic concepts before moving on to practice problems of increasing difficulty.
