About Alex
With over 15 years of experience teaching SAT and ACT Reading & Writing and as the co-founder of a successful tutoring company in the Washington, DC area, I’ve helped hundreds of students boost their scores and gain admission to the universities of their choice. In recent years, my circumstances have taken me abroad — which led me to bring my tutoring business fully online. This shift now gives students everywhere the unique opportunity to work with a highly experienced professional who has a proven record of success. My Method & Techniques
Diagnostic-first approach: I begin by identifying each student’s strengths and weaknesses with a short assessment or sample test.
Grammar focus: One of the things today's high schools often fail to give students is a solid foundation in grammar. My sessions are designed to give students a comprehensive overview of English grammar that will set them apart not only on standardized tests but in their academic and professional careers.
Targeted strategies: I teach proven methods for eliminating trap answers, managing time effectively, and approaching each section with confidence.
Active learning: Lessons are interactive — students practice real test questions, explain their reasoning, and get immediate feedback so concepts stick.
Score tracking: Progress is measured regularly to keep students motivated and accountable.
