About Rumesh
I gained the BSc in Export Agriculture from Uva Wellassa University of Sri Lanka in 2011 with a second-class upper division and I obtained the MSc in Plant Protection Technology from Post Graduate Institute of Agriculture, University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka in 2014.
I started my lecturing career in April 2013, and I taught Crop Biology (100 level), Principles of Entomology (100 level), Principles of Pathology (100 level), Crop Pest and Disease Management (200 level), Biochemical Engineering (200 level), Pesticide Toxicology (300 level), Host Plant Resistance (300 level), and supervised many undergraduate research studies.
I pursued the PhD in Plant Science at School of Agriculture and Environment, Massey University, New Zealand from 2019-2022.

My way of teaching includes Lecture- based instructions and technology-based learning and all lessons have been designed for two hours.
