About Patricia
My name is Patricia Smith and English is my second language. I have over 10 years of experience of working with students in Special Education and Behavior classrooms. I understand that each student may learn differently at their own pace. I am here to support you, find ways to motivate you as well as help you achieve your learning goals. I am patient, kind and passionate about connecting you with a learning style that works best for you. I enjoy traveling and outdoor recreation. I have a lot of out of school life experience that helps me to be able to connect with students about real life challenges and experiences.

A typical lesson plan will include: Social Emotional check in, warm up, practice of skills, questions, and a chance to build towards your goals one step at a time. I am confident in tutoring students of both elementary and middle school levels in the following subjects: English, Social Studies and Geography. As well as History and Science.
