About Jennifer
My foundational experience as a professor has been working with students who may not excel academically but have the heart of a nurse. The academic part can be learned, but a caring heart is a nursing requirement. I think of the box and meet students where they are to help them develop the necessary thought processes to excel in nursing.

My teaching basis focuses on experiential learning and using case studies and actual nursing critical thinking to make decisions like a nurse. NCLEX exam is focused on the nuance between potential decisions and this nurse thinking is an area where many good students struggle.
