About Sami
I recently graduated from Shenandoah University with a Bachelor's degree in Musical Theatre and a 3.9 GPA. I have been peer tutoring (formally and informally) since 2016. I have assisted my peers in successfully preparing for tests and fine-tuning their essays and term papers. I've earned scholarships and a free trip to China for my own writing, and I am passionate about making words pop, whether they're for a college or scholarship application, a creative writing contest, or to snag that elusive A grade in AP Literature. My Musical Theatre degree taught me communication, empathy, listening, and flexibility, and I bring all of those tools into my tutoring style.

I believe in teaching to the student(s) in the room. I generally spend the first few minutes of my time with a new student getting to know them, their likes and dislikes, and, most importantly, their learning style. From there, I find out what their goals are, and formulate a plan that best fits their needs.
