About Caitlin
I was a serious trombone player for 7 years and was in Sunshine Beach State High School's music excellence program as well as their stage and concert bands. Later I was also in the string orchestra (cello) and majored in composition in music extension in my senior year. After high school I continued playing music casually and for a time taught music appreciation, theory and basic guitar/piano/singing to home school kids.

My teaching method is casual, informal and friendly. I have found in my experience that when it comes to out of school teaching environments, the less like "school" it is the better people of all ages respond. I like to work backwards from goals and formulate lesson plans based on what my students would like to achieve.
