About Teriana
Bonjour! I am currently a fashion design student who has always had an affinity for the French language and culture. I have been studying French my entire life, and due to being French Swiss, grew up surrounded by native French speakers. I believe that the best way to learn a language is through genuine enjoyment of the material. Rather than only memorizing lists of verbs, it is helpful to be able to naturally create flowing sentences, in my opinion. After all, languages are meant to help us to communicate with one another, and understand different cultures and ways of life. I prefer to teach in a way that results in a well-rounded comprehension of the language, where you are able to communicate through speaking as well as writing. This is achieved by hearing me speak French, imitating the accent, listening to French music, watching French media, reading stories, and of course including a mix of traditional verb and vocabulary sheets.
