About Stella
From a young age, I was drawn too many sports, but volleyball stuck out to me because of its strong emphasis on teamwork and strategy. I played throughout elementary school, high school, and college, developing a deep passion for the game. At Centennial College and Seneca College, I excelled both academically and athletically, earning numerous awards for my leadership and playing abilities.
I firmly believe that setting goals is just the beginning; you must be willing to work hard to achieve them. What seems impossible can become possible with hard work, the right attitude, and sheer determination. My experiences have taught me that dedication and perseverance are key to success, and I strive to instill these values in others through my coaching and mentoring. Whether you're new to volleyball or looking to refine your skills, I'm here to support and guide you on your journey to reaching your goals.

Welcome to my volleyball tutoring sessions! Whether you're just starting or looking to refine your skills, these lessons are designed for players of all ages and levels. Here's how I can help you improve:
What We’ll Cover:
- Proper Moving Mechanics: Learn the best offensive and defensive movements. I’ll break down each step to help you move efficiently on the court.
- Defensive Strategies: We’ll dive into passing, setting, and serve-receive techniques, with helpful tips to improve your defensive game.
- Serving Techniques: Master different serving styles like underhand, overhand, jump float, and spin serving. I’ll meet you at your current level and provide tips to make your serve stronger and more powerful.
- Attacking Skills: Develop your skills as a left-side hitter and become a more versatile attacker on the court.
- Becoming a Well-Rounded Athlete: Build your coordination and confidence to become a better player.
- Fun for Everyone: These lessons are enjoyable for any age or level, because anyone can play volleyball!
My Approach as a Tutor:
- Teaching Methodology: I focus on clear, step-by-step instructions and practice. Each lesson is interactive, with plenty of opportunities for you to ask questions and get feedback.
- Typical Lesson Plan: We start with a warm-up, followed by an overview of the chosen skill you would like to focus on, then go drills to help improve that skills. We then move into game-like scenarios and finish with a cool-down and reflection on what we learned.
- What Sets Me Apart: I customize lessons based on your unique needs and goals, ensuring you get the most out of each session. My approach is patient and supportive, helping you build skills at your own pace.
