About Isabela

Hi! I'm Isabela—a Spanish tutor, environmental scientist, and passionate traveler. I bring years of experience tutoring at the college level, where I helped students grow their confidence and fluency through engaging, skill-based lessons. My approach combines structure with creativity. I use project-based learning to connect Spanish with real-life topics—especially those I care deeply about, like nature, global cultures, and sustainability. As someone who has studied and worked across different countries, I believe language is a powerful bridge between people and places. Whether you're learning Spanish for school, travel, or personal growth, I’m here to support your journey with lessons that are thoughtful, personalized, and empowering.

About the lesson

Spanish Tutor – Build Confidence Through Skill-Based, Project Learning
As a former college Spanish tutor, I specialize in helping high school and college students gain fluency and confidence through project-based, real-world learning. My method combines conversation, grammar, and cultural context with hands-on, creative projects tailored to your goals—whether it’s passing a class, preparing for travel, or deepening your fluency.

Each 40+ min lesson includes a warm-up, skill-building activity (like storytelling, debates, or roleplay), and a collaborative project that reinforces learning through meaningful use. I prioritize creating a supportive, engaging space where students feel safe to make mistakes and grow.

Ideal for: high school and college students, adult learners, Spanish 1–4, AP Spanish, or conversational practice.

What sets me apart: I center your passions and strengths to make learning Spanish enjoyable, purposeful, and personalized.

Former college Spanish tutor offering personalized lessons for all levels. Focus on grammar, conversation, and confidence-building.
