About Alexander
I've spent most of my career working with the RSPCA and in the film industry. With a strong background in science, I've worked with an incredible range of wildlife, from lions and wolves to seals and hedgehogs.
After becoming a father, I decided to follow a long-held ambition to become a teacher. I left the film and rescue industries to train as a secondary science teacher, combining my passion for science with a desire to help young people discover confidence and curiosity in the subject.
Tutoring is a natural extension of that journey. It gives me the opportunity to support students on a one-to-one basis, tailoring lessons to their individual needs while continuing to develop as an educator.

Building a positive rapport with students is at the heart of my teaching. When students feel comfortable and supported, lessons become more engaging, enjoyable and productive, even when tackling challenging topics.
As a teaching assistant currently training to become a secondary science teacher, I have experience supporting students with a range of abilities, including those with SEND. I teach Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Science up to GCSE level, tailoring each lesson to the student's individual needs and learning style.
Before we begin, I'd love to hear about your child's current level, strengths and any areas they'd like to improve. From there, I'll create lessons that build confidence, deepen understanding and help them reach their full potential.
