About Andras
I am a 52 years old market research professional. I am also a family man, married since 2004, a proud father of a single child. I lived in Asia for 5 years, worked mostly for multinational corporations. I am not a superman but a very persistent individual who gets attached to things and invests extremely into getting good results.
By now, I have spent 13 years on forex trading to achieve financial independence. I watched price movements during and outside of working hours, annotated charts when markets were open and when they were closed. After the first 3 years, wasting a lot of time on indicators and EAs, I started learning about the market maker method and price patterns. Traders have their own path and mine led me to coining the term functional trading. At the core of it is the fact that traders see the same price patterns all the time but since they take on different functions, traders are led to think price goes in one direction while it goes in another. Once the function of any price movement is known, it is relatively easy to know direction. My aim is to lead traders to understanding how and why price moves and ultimately to reach a level where price becomes their teacher and they become the master of it. With years of practice, an open mind and path shown, it is achievable.

The approach you are going to study is called functional trading, my own conclusion, based on market maker methods and price patterns trading, meant for experienced & advanced traders or fully dedicated and persistent beginners. What I teach must be read, re-read, understood, remembered, seen on the chart and concepts applied. One should be fully present, be in a flow with price and able to see what lies beyond the candles . A functional trader is able to build narratives, a very important part of successful trading as well as chart annotations, until one is able to see through the chars. All charts are naked, no indicators are used, only annotations.
I casually post trades live. Posting diverts attention as well as looking at multiple FX pairs. I strongly discourage the practice and ask everyone to consider ignoring their ego and focus on making money.
My teaching methods vary according to individual needs and I look at the most cost effective solutions for all traders, including myself. I consider myself as a trader first and want to keep teaching activities as secondary. It also means that traders have to pay attention and practice according to instructions and not force me to repeat what has been told already. If you have questions, just ask, you will receive clear, BS free answers. Also, those who subscribe to an annual plan, will receive all the information that they will ever need to know, study and practice to succeed. I do not mind sharing it all as most people are not willing to do what it takes to fully internalize the knowledge, hence they still do not understand what is being written and said.
