Hey, I'm Kayla! The work that I do is all about empowering you to turn pain into power, anxiety into calm, and “I can’t” into “watch me". If you're looking for a coach who gets it, listens without judgment and gives you practical tools that actually work, without the fluff, then you're in the right place.

I've been there... Struggling and let down by coaches or counsellors who keep offering theory-based strategies that never truly work because let's face it, they just don't get "it". With my lived experience with anxiety and depression, and background in Counselling and Coaching, I've devoted my practice to learning what actually works, and not just what a textbook says will work.

I’m a Counsellor and Certified Coach with 11 years of helping people turn adversities into superpowers. My approach focuses on creating a warm, supportive space where you feel safe to be your authentic self and thrive. What makes me different from other coaches is that I don't just teach from theory; I provide practical advice, drawing on my own journey and experiences with overcoming anxiety and depression to help you navigate your own challenges, so you can receive support that actually works.

I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach, so I tailor each session individually to each person's unique needs. Coaching is all about YOU, so I ensure I create a space where you are the driver, and I am the car that helps navigate you towards where you'd like to be.

A typical lesson starts with a short check-in to gauge how you're feeling, and a collaborative goal-update if you're a returning client (e.g., managing anxiety, exploring coping mechanisms, navigating dating, etc.)., followed by guided discussions, skill practice (like journaling or boundary-setting), and ends with tailored session notes, actionable steps, and clear goal plans.
