About Lyndsey
I am a teacher with 25 years of experience: teaching students at Key Stage 3 up to A' Level. I have taught individual students as well as large classes both on-line and in a school setting.
My students always leave me with a love of German and outstanding examination results. I am passionate about learning and always look for ways to plan my lessons around the specific needs of the student - to ensure that no time is wasted and that the student has every opportunity for success.

The most important thing for me is communication. The student needs to feel safe and happy to have a go. Mistakes are always something we can learn from and nothing to be scared about. I use lots of song, rhyme and role-play in my lessons to ensure that there is a variety of activities and I believe that one size does not fit all - and so different lesson plans according to the need of the student are what I offer.
I love teaching grammar and believe that a sound understanding of this allows the student to manipulate the language much more confidently.
