About Kayla
I am a part time Spanish teacher and have taught Spanish for 5 years. I studied at Rio Grande Language School in Edinburg, TX. I have also spent time in Mexico, Nicaragua, and Honduras both working with mission teams as a translator.
I have both tutored and taught Spanish in Birmingham for the past several years and love helping students understand and master this beautiful language.

I approach each new topic by first explaining the concept to the student. Then, I show them examples myself. Next, we work through some together and finally the students practices the concept themselves. I feel this approach best helps students grasp the information.
