About Jayne
I am a fluent speaker of both Spanish and French with a genuine passion for helping students grow in confidence and achieve strong exam results. Having studied both languages for many years and used them extensively in academic and real-world settings, I bring a clear understanding of what students need at GCSE and A-level. I’m patient, organised, and committed to creating a supportive learning environment where every student feels comfortable asking questions and developing their skills. My teaching approach is centred on building strong language foundations while developing the confidence to use Spanish and French in real-life contexts. I begin by identifying each student’s strengths, gaps, and learning style, then tailor lessons to match their pace and goals. Lessons combine clear grammar explanations, targeted vocabulary building, and plenty of speaking and listening practice to ensure genuine fluency, not just exam familiarity.
To support GCSE and A-level success, I integrate past papers, exam-style questions, and personalised feedback into every session. I break down complex topics into manageable steps and teach students how to approach translation, reading comprehension, and essay-writing with clarity and structure. My aim is to make languages feel accessible, enjoyable, and achievable for every learner.
