About Helen

I know how challenging language exams can be, especially the pressure around speaking and confidence. I enjoy helping students feel more comfortable using French so exams feel less intimidating and more manageable. Teaching allows me to support learners in a practical, encouraging way while sharing my passion for the language.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is primarily conversational, as I believe confidence in speaking is key to success in French exams. I focus on helping students use the language naturally through guided conversation, role-play, and practical scenarios, while reinforcing the vocabulary and grammar needed for exam questions. Lessons are structured but relaxed, building fluency, listening skills, and confidence, so students feel comfortable expressing themselves both in exams and in real-life situations.
