About Aurora
I was born in Romania but moved to US and Canada in 1994 when I was much younger.
I know the process of learning a new language and the patience plus hard work required to accomplish this.
It took me about a year to learn English, spoken and written, at a conversation level.
I truly hope that my students will learn this beautiful language at their own pace because everyone is different when it comes to learning a language. However, hard work and dedication are essential attributes to become fluent in any language.
Lastly, I have experience in speaking and writing English very well. I read many books in English and studied at university level in English language and also, Romanian language.
I hope to meet you in the chat room and start our lessons!

My approach is to teach my students the fundamentals, like numbers, the alphabet, days of the week, months, and the weather.
Then, I move on to phonetics and basic grammar. It´s also a back and forth process depending on what my student prefers.
I speak to my students in English using simple phrases like “Repeat after me” or “Finish this sentence.” focusing on pronunciation and idiom phrases with clear examples.
I provide homework sheets if the student is interested.
For intermediate level, I will help my students with reading, pronunciation and to build vocabulary and short sentences incorporating the pronoun, noun, verb, adjective and adverb, prepositions
