About Eve
I love to make science and maths accessible for all abilities. I am bubbly and engaging, taking subjects that some may find boring and making them exciting. I think it's important to try different styles to find which best suits a student but preferably like to teach visually (using pictures and diagrams and colour) and verbally(repeating things out loud, introducing pneumonics and rhymes etc. to remember things).
I think I break the stereotype of a scientist but I studied Biomedical Science at Imperial College London specialising in Pharmacology, graduating with a first, and now work at Cancer Research UK. Before university, I attended the Dixie Grammar School to gain 3As at A-Level in Biology, Chemistry and Maths and 7A*s and 3As at IGCSE.
I have previously tutored students ranging from 7-18 years old covering primary, GCSE, AS and A Level and am experienced in Biology, Chemistry and Maths.
