About Olivia
I am a recent graduate from the University of Kent where I studied German for 4 years (with a year abroad in Austria). I became a tutor alongside my university studies and quickly found a passion for teaching - tutoring, to me, is an exceptionally enriching process whereby I get to simultaneously share and deepen my knowledge of the subject matter.
I have been learning German for 6+ years and understand that it can be a very challenging yet rewarding language to learn. Every session will start with 1 or 2 aims for the hour and will end with an evaluation as to how far we feel we've achieved this and what we could focus on next week. Every session will be tailored precisely to the student's needs.

I have been a German tutor for 2 years now, predominantly teaching 14-18 y/o students preparing for their GCSEs and A-Levels. However, I am open to tutoring any beginners who wish to practice their German. My classes take a relaxed yet focused approach to language learning and I aim to teach every class exclusively in German - but of course, classes can be led in English if the student prefers.
A typical lesson with me will last 40 mins-1 hour.
As a native English speaker, I am also open to providing conversation and grammar practice to those wanting to improve their English.
