About Harvey
I'm a first-class Economics graduate who now works in finance, where I've completed CFA Level 2, one of the most respected qualifications in the industry. Having spent my whole life as a student, and continuing to learn every day in my career, I know firsthand what it takes to grasp difficult material and stay motivated when a subject feels hard. That experience is what drives me as a tutor: I want students to enjoy the process of learning, not just get through it.

My lessons focus on building genuine understanding rather than memorising facts to repeat in an exam. I start by identifying gaps in a student's knowledge, then work through concepts step by step, checking understanding with questions before moving on. I draw on real-world financial and business examples to make theory feel practical rather than abstract, and tailor pace and content to each student's exam board and ability. Lessons typically run 60 minutes and are suited to GCSE and A level Economics students.
