About Coleen
I am a third year Bachelor of Science student majoring in Biochemistry and Microbiology at Rhodes University.I received an A aggregate throughout high school and in matric, and got distinctions in five out of seven subjects (English, Afrikaans FAL, Life Orientation,Visual Arts and Life Sciences - Physical Sciences and Mathematics were near misses). I am a patient person, and will therefore work at your pace but still push for you to work as hard as what you can manage. I am also very enthusiastic about academics and will therefore try my best to bring positivity into your academic environment!

I didn’t learn Afrikaans from it being taught to me in school, so I believe I offer different angles on the language. I will focus on what you are least confident with, but I am still able to pick up on what we need to work on. I am particularly strong with creative writing, speeches and improving pronunciation. Furthermore, I am very approachable, patient and always go the extra mile to make sure you understand what we have covered!
