About Malaika
I would like to help students set specific academic goals they want to achieve, and explain how tutoring can support them in reaching those goals.
I am an enthusiastic, passionate and hard-working individual who has
experience working within a healthcare setting. As an aspiring pharmacist student, I am a caring, honest and trustworthy person who is able to listen to patients and articulate the most appropriate advice when needed. I work
well under pressure and have the ability to manage customer complaints.
Having recently completed level 1 and 2 of British Sign Language (BSL)
certificate I am able to communicate with the deaf community as this is
very close to my heart as both of my siblings are profoundly deaf.
I also know how it feels when struggling in school as I always struggled with always feeling that I was not able to achieve anything to pass my exams as someone who deals with anxiety, I overcame my anxiety by becoming confident in myself and being able to achieve anything that I wanted too. I hope to make this change for students that would love to be taught by myself.

My lessons will include to teach students GCSE English and Mathematics and BTEC Applied Science.
