About Neha
I matriculated with a distinction in Visual Arts and achieved high marks in English. With this, and my current university achievements as an English Lit Rep and Art Practical Rep, I hope to encourage students and instill the discipline and drive to succeed in their creative endeavours. I've worked through many courses that have taught me the importance of creativity and often, we are not taught how to exercise it meaningfully!
I have personal, hands-on experience with younger students as I'm also in a Mentorship Programme, and have served as a Mentor for two years and ongoing. I understand how much it means to extend a helping hand in a moment of need. I currently work at a contemporary gallery as a curator too so I am constantly in the midst of situations that enable me to solve a problem and assist.
You do not need to be the smartest in the room for me to take you seriously. Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses, and I will play to your strengths while also helping you hone the skills and development to turn your weaknesses into moments of major learning and self-enrichment.

My aim is to assist students, of all ages, to understand and practice their creative subjects in a productive manner.
Each lesson is catered to the student, and the course material is curated personally so that my student is comfortable and able to process the content effectively and efficiently. For learners from Grade 9 - 12, this is a combination of compiled work that the student can learn from independently and I offer three weekly check-ins to assist with practical work, essay structuring / proof-reading and in-depth analysis of works. Paper 2 and 3 are heavily focused on if you are in matric and struggling in English. These are easy marks to get to pass.
Learners from Grade 1 - 3 will have a simple, structured course offering key developmental exercises that are also fun, allowing them to become resourceful and express their imagination. The intermediary learners from Grade 4 - 7 will under-go various analysis exercises and be required to understand basic fundamental theories and methodologies.
Should my student have any other specific requirements, they may approach with their own query and I will ensure this in incorporated into the content and work. Each lesson is a chance to make a mistake and learn from it, and to grow from them too! It's a great chance to learn about yourself and how you can improve.
