Fine Art graduate and professional artist, specialising in traditional drawing and oil painting. I help students who want to seriously develop their artistic skills.

An is a highly skilled and versatile artist with solid art foundations. Not only is she skilled and knowledgeable as an artist but she has great teaching skills where she can pass on her knowledge and skills to her students.

As a teacher she is patient and inspiring, depending on your level the initial lessons may stick to the basics and give An an idea of your skills, what may need improvement, and what kind of artist you are. With that idea she will design classes and exercises that are fun and practical, find a style that is most suitable for your learning.

When doing demonstrations in class she would patiently explain the theory and concept behind each media and method, and give you time to try the newly learned skills under her guidance.

Overall, on top of being a well seasoned artist in both traditional art methods and digital art, she is a multi-lingual teacher with great communication skills and patience.

An is an incredibly talented artist and an absolutely wonderful teacher. My daughter started taking in-person classes with her back in 2021. During this pre-COVID time, even with all the disruptions and changing situations at the time, An remained positive, steady, and responsible. She managed to keep my daughter in such a great mindset about art, and she truly looked forward to her class every single day.
An taught her a huge variety of styles, from basic pencil drawing and watercolor to digital art and even Chinese brush painting. She is incredibly patient and always strikes the perfect balance between teaching solid art foundations and encouraging her students to get creative.
Later on, An moved to Japan to pursue her own studies, but she still stays in touch with my daughter online. She constantly encourages her to keep drawing and takes the time to look at her work and give feedback over messages. It is so rare to find a teacher who cares so much. My daughter has grown so much as an artist thanks to An, and we couldn't ask for a better mentor!

An was my art tutor from 2021-2024. She is a very funny, kind, and understanding individual who will meet you wherever your art level is at. She pushed me to surpass my limits and taught me all the skills to create my own art. I never would be the artist I am today without her.

An played a huge role in sparking my interest towards art and supported me for the first half of my now, 10-year art journey. In search of an art teacher, I was reccommened An by my older sister back in 2016. As a fussy nine-year old student at the time, I can attest to An's patient, candid and kind character. After learning the fundementals through traditional mediums, she allowed me to delve into my interests and draw them with her guidence. Whatever I wanted to learn, An's extensive knowledge in the fine arts was able to come in handy and help satisfy my curiosity despite it not being planned beforehand. I was able to learn a lot from An!
