About Ryan
Hi! As someone who experienced difficulties learning while at school, I pride myself in approaching tutoring in a way to ensure the focus is on finding a way to bring out the best in each student based on their individuality and preferred learning styles.
My tutoring methods are:
- results-oriented to ensure the student's goals are achieved in the shortest time,
- broken down into straightforward and logical steps to simplify solving,
- tailored to each student's needs and strengths, so that the approach takes each individual's preferences into consideration,
- enjoyable, as having some fun while studying helps with the mood and ultimately for the student to learn better.
I am currently an Instructor in Finance and Math courses at the Business School of the Lebanese International University. I have 15 years of experience tutoring Finance, Accounting, Statistics, and Math, as well as 10 years of GMAT and 5 years of SAT.
Since 2007, I have learned a lot from working in a wide range of industries. These include financial auditing, environmental consulting, and crowdfunding/financing in the European football industry.
