About Jane
I currently study Biology with Spanish at the University of Manchester, and have just finished my year-long study abroad with the University of Sevilla, Spain. I have been a Spanish tutor for the last two years and have taught at an EFL summer camp for the last 3 years.
Besides ecology and classic literature, my great love is teaching and I hope to become a high school teacher when I graduate. Tutoring provides me the best experience to achieve that goal!

With my students, I look to find the particular methods that most help them to not only learn English, but to enjoy doing it. Whether that be analysing TV and music, creative writing together or role-playing real-life scenarios, I want to show you what English looks like every day and how immersing yourself can make your English better.
Along the way, we will also analyse your work to zone in on grammar and vocabulary weaknesses and what changes you can make to sound like a real native.
My lessons are for students that already have a conversational level of English (A2-B1) and are looking to improve. However, I can take Spanish-speakers starting from a lower level, as I speak Spanish. All ages are welcome but I am best-equipped for 10+ and mature learners. Lessons are usually an hour long but can be adjusted depending on the needs of the student.
